Overview
This person teaches American Red Cross Learn to Swim classes.
Instructors are responsible for teaching lessons according to established guidelines, communicating with parents, and ensuring swimmers' safety at all times.
QualificationsPossess current certification as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Other agency certifications will be considered.
ADA and Other Requirements- Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Visual AcuityThe worker is required to have visual acuity to operate trucks, forklifts, cranes, and other equipment.
Working ConditionsThe worker is subject to both environmental conditions, as activities occur both inside and outside. The worker is exposed to both extreme cold and heat, with temperatures below 32 degrees and above 100 degrees, each for periods exceeding one hour.
