Cloud Engineer - Software, Python, DevOps
Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC. This role focuses on designing and developing cloud‑native automation and AI agent workflows using Python, RPA, and modern LLM orchestration frameworks.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Design and develop automation solutions using Python-based RPA and/or commercial RPA platforms, including robust error handling and retries.
- Build AI agents with Lang Chain/Lang Graph to orchestrate tools, APIs, and multi‑step workflows for backend services.
- Integrate automations with enterprise systems via REST APIs, JSON payloads, and databases; manage versioning and reviews with Git.
- Containerize services with Docker, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reproducible, secure builds.
- Deploy and operate solutions on AWS (e.g., IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, Cloud Watch), implementing logging, metrics, and basic monitoring/alerts.
- Collaborate with onshore architects, adhere to defined architecture standards, and document solutions for maintainability and handover.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 6–8 years of professional experience building automation/backend services with Python and AWS.
- Hands‑on expertise with Lang Chain and/or Lang Graph, plus Python-based RPA or commercial RPA platforms, building production‑grade automations.
- Proven experience deploying containerized services (Docker) on AWS (e.g., Lambda, ECS/Fargate) with REST APIs, JSON, and Git for version control and CI/CD.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
