Mapjects Clearview platform provides one‑click distribution, logistics and analysis products to enrich and visualize big data sets from warehousing, fulfillment, fraud detection, payment technology and B2B eCommerce.

This position is responsible for supporting design and development in a team environment. The Mapjects developer must be independent, driven, and responsible. He or she should be proficient at building applications based on requirements, client meetings, current web technologies, and development tools and features.

• Support application development, prototyping, and modeling.
• Support configuration changes, with ALM tools, identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.
• Provide resolutions to an extensive range of complicated problems. Solutions are expected to be innovative, thorough, and practicable.
• Work under limited direction; independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
• Work will be evaluated upon completion for adequacy in satisfying objectives, team collaboration and contribution.
• Represent the organization as the principal customer contact on contracts and often perform a project leadership role. Interact with senior customer personnel on significant technical matters frequently requiring coordination across organizational lines. College degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred. Typically has 5–7 years related experience.

• Development of new or existing web-based applications using Java, Java‑Servlets, JSP, JSF, XML, J2EE, Web Services.
• Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving skills.
• Motivated and effective team player at senior‑level.
• Experience working on Agile project teams.
• Familiarity with web‑based applications.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the Waterfall or Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with bug and change request tracking tools.
• BS in an Information Systems or related field of study (or equivalent). Advanced studies/degree preferred.
• Some positions may require work in DC or VA.
