Overview
Piper Companies is seeking a Backend Software Engineer (Python) for an award winning SaaS company in the Raleigh Durham, NC area. The Backend Software Engineer (Python) is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite. The role is initially a 6 month contract position, with potential extension depending on the scope of work and budget.
Responsibilities- Design, development, implement and maintain software features and integrations
- Play an active role on scrum team successfully working towards sprint goals
- Optimize code to enhance performance and scalability
- Over 3 years of professional Python development experience
- Background within Django framework
- Strong understanding of REST API development
- Cloud background would be ideal
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and/or relevant work experience
- $95,000 - $110,000 annually with Full Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave as required by law
