The Platform Engineering organization is engaged in building a next-generation decision support system to advance capabilities of the Oracle Health EHR.  We are seeking a Consulting Member of Technical Staff to play a critical technical leadership role to ensure FDA and global regulatory compliance, including secure design, architecture and software development lifecycle standards to meet requirements.

This role will require collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-performance systems. You will architect complex systems, ensure smooth integration across technologies, and provide technical leadership to other engineers.

We are looking for a hands-on senior engineer with technical breadth, proven experience in solving cloud scale problems, distributed systems design & implementation experience to build fault tolerant solutions that will form the foundations of the next generation Oracle Health EHR. The candidate is expected to have strong written and verbal communications skills, the ability to lead projects across organizational boundaries, and experience representing their work to senior leaders.

** Responsibilities*
* As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff, you will have a technical leadership role in the definition and evolution of cloud scale services. You will define software development best practices within your organization to develop and deploy high quality software at a rapid pace. You will identify business KPIs for your software and iteratively build impactful solutions that solve hard customer problems.

You will be responsible for hands-on software design, development, and debugging in a cloud native environment.

Qualifications

- BS or MS degree in degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related IT field or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

- 12+ years of software development experience with large scale, highly available distributed systems.

_-_  Manage secure design and development to meet regulatory standards by following the Risk-Based Process and ensure product is maintaining compliance to FDA and other Global regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in the Java programming language.  Python programming experience is preferred.

- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and operating systems.

- In-depth experience in cloud platforms and microservices.

- Strong background in AI/ML, with a focus on generative AI and AI-driven code generation.

- Experience in data architecture and database concepts.

- Systematic problem-solving, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive.

- Deep understanding of service metrics and alarms through the development of dashboards, service KPIs, alarming systems

- Propose, scope, design and direct automation, optimizations, and enhancements

- Self-motivated and proactive with a proven track record in mentoring and technical leadership.

- Mentor junior engineers

Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
