Lead Construction​/Carpenter​/Maintenance

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead Carpenter / Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role requires strong general construction knowledge and the ability to lead small projects and maintenance tasks across multiple locations. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable traveling to job sites within 1–2 hours of Raleigh, NC. Access to company truck with gas card.

• Perform a variety of carpentry, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial properties
• Lead and complete small construction and renovation projects
• Troubleshoot and repair structural, finish, and general building issues
• Install framing, trim, doors, cabinets, drywall, and other carpentry components
• Coordinate materials, tools, and job-site organization
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards
• Communicate project progress and maintenance needs with management
• Travel to job sites within a 1–2 hour radius of Raleigh as required

• Strong general knowledge of construction, carpentry, and building systems
• Experience with framing, trim work, drywall, and general repairs
• Ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to travel to job sites within a 1–2 hour radius of Raleigh, NC
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environments
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• 5+ years of carpentry or general construction experience
• Experience in maintenance for multiple properties or job sites
• Experience supervising helpers or small crews
