Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Job Title: Hydraulic Crane Mechanic •
Pay: $30.00 – $42.00 per hour •
Job Type: Full-Time •
Work Location: In Person
Condustrial is seeking an experienced Hydraulic Crane Mechanic to join our team. This position focuses on the maintenance and repair of mobile truck cranes and heavy-duty trucks. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with heavy equipment and thrives in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment. This is a full-time role offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all makes of mobile cranes and heavy-duty trucks
- Diagnose, adjust, modify, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, air brake, and suspension systems
- Safely operate heavy lifting equipment and specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently
- Read and interpret parts manuals, operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Utilize diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repair
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements and evolving industry regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality service
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hydraulic Crane Mechanic
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic
- Strong background in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- Basic set of mechanic’s hand tools required
- Ability to work safely around moving machinery in varying temperatures and humidity
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willingness to learn new computer, electronic, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with Link-Belt, Terex, and Liebherr cranes
- Experience with Sterling and Peterbilt trucks
