A H&E Field Mechanic travels to customer job sites for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on different forms of aerial and earthmoving heavy equipment. • Travel to customer job sites for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, including engines, transmissions, and other components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines.
• Implement preventive maintenance procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain accurate records of work performed.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant driving experience.
• Strong repair skills; factory, vocational, or mechanical training is a plus.
• Experience with heavy equipment like excavators, forklifts, and compactors.
