Service Technician – Hobart Food Equipment and Service
Join our team as a Service Technician. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining commercial food equipment for customers across the region.

Responsibilities- Work with customers to electrically/mechanically troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial food equipment, including cooking, food preparation, ware washers, weigh‑wrap, baking, and refrigeration.
- Leave from home each morning and work at customer sites with minimal direct supervision.
- Meet or surpass weekly productivity and customer‑oriented goals while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Accredited High School Diploma or GED and 0‑2 years of similar electrical/mechanical experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive multiple hours daily.
- Willingness to work overtime and on‑call as required.
- Availability to attend industry‑leading training at our corporate headquarters in Troy, OH.
- Lift up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
- Climb up to 10 ft with an A‑frame ladder.
- Occasional roof access via extension or fixed ladders greater than 20 feet.
- Extensive walking (3‑5 miles/day) and driving (5‑6 hours/day).
- Work in tight, confined spaces and operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
- Use of power tools and machinery.
- Office and customer facilities, including commercial kitchens.
- Exposure to noise, heat, cold, slippery or wet/dirty conditions.
- Travel up to 50% of time.
- Normal business hours with occasional/frequent/extended hours as needed.
