Position Overview
As a multi-family Residential Electrical Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential electrical services in Raleigh, NC. You will lead a team of electricians, coordinate projects, ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Your role involves providing technical guidance, managing resources, and maintaining safety compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of residential electricians, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and productivity. - Project Management:
Plan, organize, and oversee residential electrical projects from start to finish, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management. - Quality Assurance:
Ensure all electrical work meets quality standards, codes, and regulations; conduct inspections and provide feedback to team members as needed. - Client Communication:
Serve as the main point of contact for residential clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the project lifecycle. - Technical Expertise:
Provide technical guidance and assistance to electricians, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure proper installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment. - Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment, conduct regular safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. - Inventory Management:
Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring adequate supplies and maintaining accurate records of usage and expenses. - Training and Development:
Identify training needs and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in residential electrical services. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in residential electrical operations, implement best practices and initiatives to optimize performance. - Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including work orders, invoices, and permits, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Specific Qualifications
- Proven experience as a multi-family residential electrician, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Valid electrician license and certification (where applicable).
- Strong technical knowledge of residential electrical systems, codes, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
