Carolina Industrial Products is seeking to hire a full-time Battery Service Technician to repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers in the field. The starting pay is $18-$24/hour plus a company vehicle with potential increases. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance

As a Battery Service Technician, you are the face of our company. You go out into the field to service, troubleshoot, and repair industrial forklift batteries and chargers. With your customer service skills, you keep customers informed about the work being done and notify them of any additional costs involved. You also communicate with other team members to ensure expert service.

• Mechanical/electrical aptitude
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and DOT physical

Electrical and forklift experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, customer service orientation, critical thinking, ability to work independently, and ability to follow safety protocols are desired traits.

The typical schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
