Join Duncan‑Parnell Inc. in the Raleigh, NC office as an Installer – Construction, Carpentry & Fabrication. The role supports operations and customers in our Signs & Graphics division.
Job SummaryThe primary responsibilities of the installer include the assembly and installation of signage throughout the Carolinas. The ideal candidate has carpentry skills, a mechanical inclination, and a background in construction, installation, or signage.
Essential Functions and Duties- Install signs in and around the Carolinas (local travel as needed)
- Speak to customers on‑site and represent Duncan‑Parnell professionally while in the field
- Operate various types of tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems
- Read and understand maps, construction plans, assembly instructions, and measurements
- Follow SOPs and job protocols
- Prepare for installations by reviewing scope of work with the production team, prepping tools, gathering materials, and loading & unloading
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming shipments and deliveries from outside vendors
- Send completion photos
- Communicate effectively with the team and complete paperwork for billing
- Installations may include: exterior signs with posts (4x8; V‑signs, parking/directional signs, banners, etc.), interior signage (acrylics, way finding signs, impact logos, wall & window vinyl graphics)
- Occasionally use a lift (scissor lift, boom lift)
- Perform additional duties as needed
- High school graduate
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Light construction, carpentry, fabrication experience or previous sign and graphics experience

- Team player with a strong work ethic
- Mechanically inclined with light carpentry skills and ability to take measurements; knowledge of hand & power tools
- Organized and detail‑oriented – able to multitask, prioritize, and troubleshoot projects
- Self‑motivated – must be able to work independently and execute assignments in a time‑sensitive manner
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
