This position assists in organization, preparation, and maintenance of Wake Tech Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration labs.

• Prepares equipment for laboratory use
• Maintains an accurate inventory of equipment and supplies
• Assists students in labs with understanding the objectives of the laboratory
• Assists students in developing troubleshooting skills
• Assists with preparing and setting up equipment and parts needed to conduct laboratory assignments
• Assists instructors as needed with lab equipment
• Assists with lab safety and procedures
• Confers with instructors to determine supply and equipment needs
• Performs maintenance of laboratory equipment and supplies

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and power tools, including machine tools
• Knowledge of lab safety procedures and processes

• Current Wake Tech Student enrolled in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology Program

• One year of experience in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
