Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government corrections location;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and/or public partners as directed;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, housing areas, yards, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment;
Control access at gates, sally ports, and checkpoints by verifying identification and authorizations, monitoring movement, and watching for prohibited items and suspicious activity that may help to deter policy violations;
Complete detailed reports and logs on patrols, incidents, and unusual activity, and assist with security-related searches, counts, and accountability procedures as assigned
