** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to site staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with Allied Universal post orders, applicable laws, and site requirements, including maintaining required certifications and following use of force and firearms handling guidelines.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Control access at entry points by checking identification, authorizations, and/or logs, and directing persons to appropriate locations while following site rules.

+ Monitor cameras, alarms, radios, and/or other security-related systems, and report irregularities per procedure.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, scene control, and coordination with site leadership and/or responding public agencies as directed.

+ Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents, and observations, and maintain accurate documentation in required systems.

+ Enforce site rules regarding restricted areas and prohibited items, and assist with screening procedures when assigned, following post orders.

+ Provide escort duties for authorized personnel and/or visitors through controlled areas as directed by site policy.

+ Participate in roll call, briefings, and required training, and communicate post information to oncoming officers for continuity of operations.

* + - Possess an armed guard card/license.

+ - Be at least 21 years of age.

+ - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ - Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ - Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
