** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff members while upholding Allied Universal standards.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and/or irregularities according to site procedures.

+ Support access control measures by verifying credentials and observing visitor activity within the location.

+ Assist law enforcement and/or emergency responders as needed during critical events.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
