What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Lead the implementation of a patient‑centric model involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Centers of Excellence (COEs), academic institutions, and health systems
  • Provide education and support to healthcare providers advocating for Rare Disease patients
  • Execute strategic business and account plans based on local market conditions and brand objectives
  • Navigate complex hospital settings to engage with targeted healthcare providers and stakeholders
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years calling on prescribers of specialized products
  • Proven sales performance with quantifiable accomplishments and awards in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
  • Experience with salesforce automation platforms and other business intelligence tools
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulatory environments and market access fundamentals
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, with the ability to operate a motor vehicle
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Master’s degree AND 6+ years of relevant experience OR PhD AND 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in rare diseases and prior experience calling on key accounts and academic institutions
  • Previous start‑up or market development experience
  • Endocrine experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to identify and hire exceptional sales teams
