Job Description

Sales & Campaign Coordinator is a key member of our sales team, working with Lamar account executives and customers to build innovative outdoor advertising campaigns for brands in Raleigh, NC and surrounding areas. The role performs all sales administrative functions before and after the contract phase of the sales cycle: prospecting new customer leads, preparing sales presentations and proposals, and coordinating the execution of contracted advertising campaigns.

Additional tasks may be assigned by Account Executives, the Sales Manager, or the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new customer leads for the sales team.
  • Prepare sales presentations and proposals.
  • Provide product, promotion, and pricing information by clarifying customer requests, selecting appropriate information, forwarding information, and answering questions.
  • Coordinate and enter requests for charting or assist with the charting function.
  • Coordinate and enter requests for conceptual art for the AE’s.
  • Maintain customer database or CRM by inputting customer profiles, updating records, preparing and distributing reports.
  • Track sales expenses by consolidating, analyzing, and summarizing expenses and forwarding for reimbursement.
  • Continuously update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Coordinate and monitor ongoing activities and internal communications related to advertising campaigns to ensure on-time and contractual execution while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Inform Account Executives and customers about the current status of advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate and manage campaign progress and deliver customer installation and proof of performance information; obtain client approval on artwork; communicate panel locations in TBD situations.
  • Resolve problems during campaigns by investigating, identifying solutions, and notifying relevant parties.
Qualifications
  • Excellent command of the English language.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Gmail.
  • High level of interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to enter and compile data accurately and on time.
  • Energy, enthusiasm, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • High organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Creativity, initiative, and commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of common public relations practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a systematic approach to detail-oriented work.
  • Comfortable working in a deadline‑driven environment.
  • Ability to work independently and act on own initiative.
  • Problem‑solving ability.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of related experience, preferably in sales, marketing, or administrative roles.
  • Experience in data management and Gmail preferred.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
