Inside Sales Representative Overview
DSA Doors is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our Raleigh team. If you enjoy helping customers, solving problems, and keeping things organized, this role is a great fit.
Why you’ll love this roleAs part of our sales team, you’ll be the go-to person helping customers get the information they need—quotes, pricing, product details, and order updates. You’ll also support our custom project team on more unique orders. Every day brings something a little different, and your work directly impacts customer satisfaction and company success.
What you’ll doCustomer Support & Standard Sales
- Be the first point of contact for customer calls and emails
- Prepare and send quotes, pricing, product info, and lead times
- Enter accurate customer orders in the CRM/ERP system
- Provide updates on order status, shipping, or changes
- Look for opportunities to upsell or add complementary products
- Keep detailed notes in the CRM for visibility and follow‑up
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Send samples, catalogs, or product information as needed
Custom Project Support
- Assist the Custom/Project Sales team with non‑standard or unique customer requests
- Help prepare custom quotes, RFQs, and submittals
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service for accurate project details
- Track project timelines and ensure customers receive updates
- Support smooth handoffs from quote to production
- Associate degree or experience in inside sales or customer service
- Strong communication skills and a customer‑first mindset
- Comfort working in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to stay organized, work efficiently, and manage multiple tasks
- 2+ years inside sales or customer service experience in selling doors or building materials industry (preferred)
- CRM and ERP experience (preferred)
- Onsite office environment
