Summary of Position:
Crooked Hammock Brewery is excited to open in Raleigh this spring, and we’re building an incredible team to help bring this new location to life! Our focus is on creating a welcoming, high-energy space where guests can gather, connect, and enjoy thoughtfully crafted food, beer, and hospitality that feels genuine and memorable. The Dishwasher at Crooked Hammock Brewery is responsible for washing & cleaning tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
This person will execute daily maintenance and deep cleaning of facilities, focused on keeping the dishroom & equipment clean and organized.

Responsibilities- Opening and midday maintenance of facilities including cleaning & stocking all restrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, and maintaining clean outdoor areas
- Complete opening and closing procedures
- Load, run and unload dish machine
- Set-up three bay sink with detergent, rinse, and sanitizer
- Stock all necessary cleaning products
- Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
- Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle
- Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware in appropriate location
- Maintain all dish and food service equipment storage areas
- Keep dish washing area clean and organized
- Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen
- Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designated times
- Assist with trash removal from other kitchen and FOH areas
- Assist with food prep when needed
- Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss
- Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies in all areas
- Clean food preparation and production areas as required
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor
- Clock in and out at scheduled time. Make Management aware of any deviation from schedule
- Live the brand & be a brand ambassador; make decisions in the best interest of the business at all times
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to/from work
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours)
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to read and comprehend labels on chemicals
