This position will manage the sorting, merchandising, intake, and sale of donated items. It will also maintain a clean and safe working environment in the store and sorting areas, manage checkouts, and handle end-of-day totals. Additionally, the role involves overseeing volunteers.

- Assure all donated items are placed on sales floor for sale in a timely manner
- Exhibit professionalism and empathy towards all customers, callers, and donors
- Assure store is open and operational during determined store hours
- Adhere to all policies of Healing Transitions
- Other duties as assigned
- Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Preferred 6 months of sobriety
- One (1) year experience/training in retail or equivalent
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as credit card machines, computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to read and write documents written in Standard English. Good interpersonal skills and ability to use appropriate language with staff, donors, customers and peers. Employee is required to demonstrate excellent customer service.
TRAVELLight travel to Men’s or Women’s Campus for meetings.
