Overview
Multiple positions for summer internships lasting 3-12 months
Position InformationThis position, up to 40 hours per week, will support research activities within the Research Group at ITRE primarily in the areas of roadway monitoring and roadway modeling, among others. This position will assist with research tasks related to monitoring roadways for safety and operations, as well as modeling roadway networks and processing and analyzing data. Additional tasks may be assigned to this position in other relevant areas, based on the candidate’s background and expertise.
The candidate should also be proficient in reporting writing, analysis, and communicating with the research team and the project sponsor.
- Support research activities related to monitoring roadways for safety and operations.
- Assist with modeling roadway networks and processing and analyzing data.
- Perform reporting writing and communicate with the research team and project sponsor.
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled in a program with coursework in a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in reporting writing, analysis, and communicating with the research team and project sponsor.
- Ability to work independently and conduct research and literature review tasks.
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
