Overview
Exential (Formerly Total Facility Solutions) is seeking an experienced Senior QA/QC Inspector in Raleigh, NC. This role is responsible for inspections of installed or partially installed process piping systems and monitors the handling of materials in compliance with the site / project quality assurance program.
Responsibilities- Conducts and coordinates all activities required to successfully provide quality assurance for an individual project
- Attends coordination meetings with clients and project kick-off meetings
- Coordinates with TFS estimating team on bid reviews
- Performs project status reporting and customer relationship development
- Performs material inspections
- Performs weld inspections
- Performs installation inspections
- Conformance / non-conformance reporting
- Performs hydrostatic pressure tests
- Performs pneumatic pressure tests
- Performs inboard helium leak detection
- Performs outboard helium leak detection
- Performs particle sampling analysis
- Performs trace moisture and oxygen analysis
- Documents and archives per published Exential procedures
- Performs Borescope video inspections
- Creates Safety Observation Reports
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 6+ years of experience
- Field quality inspection experience required
- Piping quality experience on semiconductor and pharmaceutical facility construction projects preferred
- American Society for Non-destructive Testing (ASNT) Level II required
- Certified Welding Inspector a plus
- Experience in construction, process equipment or piping industries
- Must have had experience on construction sites
