The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of pets in your care. This role requires excellent animal handling skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping.
• Assess the condition of each dog’s coat and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe grooming environment.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding grooming needs and recommendations.
• Handle dogs of various breeds and temperaments with care and compassion.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques.

• Previous experience in dog grooming or a related field.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds and grooming requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for animal care.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school is a plus.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push and squat most of the workday.
• The ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
