• Assisting with field operations at Lake Wheeler Road Field Lab including planting, fertilizing, cutting, raking, and baling hay.
• Planting, fertilizing, and harvesting corn and sorghum for silage.
• Operating and maintaining farm equipment and tractors.
• Assisting with landscaping, grass mowing, and simple building maintenance around the farm.
• All operations are supervised by a full‑time employee of the farm.
• Position does not require the application of chemicals, operation of large equipment, or trucks requiring a CDL.

10‑40 hours per week, 7:00 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday

• Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties
• Valid driver's license (though a valid NC Driver's License is not required)
• Commercial Driver's License is not required

Anticipated Hiring Range:
Up to $16 per hour
