Job Duties
- Assisting with field operations at Lake Wheeler Road Field Lab including planting, fertilizing, cutting, raking, and baling hay.
- Planting, fertilizing, and harvesting corn and sorghum for silage.
- Operating and maintaining farm equipment and tractors.
- Assisting with landscaping, grass mowing, and simple building maintenance around the farm.
- All operations are supervised by a full‑time employee of the farm.
- Position does not require the application of chemicals, operation of large equipment, or trucks requiring a CDL.

10‑40 hours per week, 7:00 am‑4:00 pm, Monday‑Friday
Requirements and Preferences- Combination of training and experience required to perform the duties
- Valid driver's license (though a valid NC Driver's License is not required)
- Commercial Driver's License is not required
Anticipated Hiring Range:
Up to $16 per hour
