Experienced Veterinary Technician - ER

Blue Pearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician!

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

Schedule: Both weekday (daytime) & weekend positions available

Our emergency service is growing and we are seeking to add skilled veterinary technicians to our team, RVT preferred. Experience in both ICU and ER/Triage desired. This is a fast paced environment with the potential to work in tandem with our specialty services. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays. • Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
