Directly responsible for all hourly treatments, monitoring, and husbandry care. Responsible for triage and treatment of emergency caseload. Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, animal handling, and restraint. Ensure compliance with all Infectious Disease protocols.
- Attend non-revenue generating sporting events for free.

At least one year of equine veterinary experience. Ample large animal experience. At least one year experience working in a veterinary setting.
Extensive large animal handling experience. Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, zoonotic diseases, and unpleasant odors. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all times and maintain professionalism in emotionally charged / challenging situations.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds frequently with or without a reasonable accommodation. Excellent organizational skills. Accuracy in recording. Work well with minimal supervision. Required license/certification. Will employee be driving a State/University owned vehicle? Comments Prioritizes tasks appropriately according to importance and urgency.
