Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) position requiring the ability to both scrub and circulate cardiac cases in a Magnet-designated hospital setting in North Carolina.

Job Details

• Work in a dedicated Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit within a hospital setting,

• CVOR team supports more than 1,400 procedures annually across 5 dedicated OR rooms for Heart & Vascular patients,

• Patient population consists of cardiac and vascular surgical cases requiring scrubbing and circulating responsibilities,

• Primary schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM; 3x12-hour shift schedule may also be considered,

• Free parking available on-site,

Job Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact license currently in hand,

• Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required,

• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required,

• Cardiac OR experience required, with demonstrated ability to both scrub and circulate cardiac cases,

Minimum education:

Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from an accredited nursing program (BSN or MSN preferred),

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation within the operative setting using evidence-based practice and the nursing process,

• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team including highly skilled cardiovascular surgeons and OR staff,

• Participates in patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination of care,
