Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Corrections RN or LPN to join a state-level correctional healthcare team. This role serves adult individuals in a secure environment and includes exposure to minimum, medium, and Amergisum custody levels depending on assignment. Corrections nursing is a highly rewarding specialty that offers consistent scheduling, long-term contract potential, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a unique clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide routine and emergency nursing care to adult incarcerated individuals.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and document accurately in the HERO system.
• Collaborate with correctional staff and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Maintain safety, security, and infection control standards at all times.

Experience

• No minimum experience required; corrections experience is highly preferred.
• Prior exposure to secure or correctional settings is a plus but not mandatory.

Orientation & Training

• Orientation: 1 week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00/5:00 PM
• All contracts begin on day shift for onboarding.
