Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Family Practice, Acute Care

Join Our Dynamic Urgent Care Team as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare to diverse patient populations? We are seeking dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide vital urgent care services across multiple locations.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume adult and pediatric patient care (patients aged 6 months and up), performing minor procedures such as I&D, Lac repairs, and ear irrigations, and operating independently in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize Epic EMR software, demonstrating proficiency to ensure seamless patient documentation and care delivery. Our ideal candidates excel in soft skills, possess strong clinical judgment, and demonstrate adaptability to handle diverse cases confidently.

Required Skills:

Minimum of 12 months of urgent care experience treating adults and children

Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Board Certification required)

Valid BLS, DEA, and NP or PA certification

Proficiency with Epic EMR system

Ability to see and treat all patients independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of supported locations

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience in minor procedures such as I&D, ear irrigation, and laceration repairs

Prior experience working in high-volume urgent care settings

Strong soft skills to foster positive patient and staff interactions

Familiarity with Medicare enrollment procedures

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with at least one year of urgent care or similar clinical experience

Active licensure and certifications in good standing

Experience working with Epic EMR

Other Requirements:

Willingness to participate in mandatory onboarding, EMR training, and clinical screening assessments

Ability to travel within designated support locations

Participation in a structured training schedule, including mandatory onboarding on set Wednesdays

No travel reimbursement available; mileage reimbursement provided
