Position: Registered Nurse
Job Type: Full-Time / Non-Exempt
Shift Details: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and e/o Wednesday – 7:00pm – 7:30am
Work Location: Crisis - Wake Recovery Response Center - Raleigh, NC
Salary/Hourly Wage: $35.00 - $42.00/hour
Retention Bonus: $12,000

Certifications:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse;
State-specific RN license
The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served. The RN position also serves as clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Guest Care & Advocacy:
Coordinates services with public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals. - Assists individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
- Conducts assessments and treatment plans.
- Provides individual and family counseling.
- Participates in the development of educational curriculum.
- Supervises and/or provides nursing treatment and monitoring, such as diabetes and blood pressure.
- Responds to crisis calls for assessment and pertinent intervention as needed.
- Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
- Compliance &
Risk Management: - Administers medication as required by protocol.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Keeps abreast of federal and state regulations and Recovery Innovations policies; adheres to Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Cross Functional
Collaboration: - Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, recovery outcomes and medical care.

Education/Licenses:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. - Valid and current state-specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred).
Experience &
Skills:
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, side effects, reactions and interactions.
- Basic computer skills; attention to detail; problem solving; ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans; strong verbal and written communication; excellent documentation skills.
- Trauma Informed Care experience preferred; bilingual preferred.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training per state requirements.
- Driving Requirements:
- If driving is required, must meet Recovery Innovations driving policy. If not qualified to drive, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Miscellaneous Requirements:
- Travel may be required based on business need. Must be at least 18 years old unless required otherwise by funder regulations.
