Licensed Practical Nurse – Overview

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to work at a facility in Raleigh, North Carolina
. These positions are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $40 / hour

• Regional Medical Center 1745 – 0615 hours, every other weekend and holidays (36/48 schedule)
• Regional Medical Center 0545 – 1815 hours, every other weekend and holidays (36/48 schedule)
• Outside Rounds 0700 – 1930 hours, every other weekend and holidays (36/48 schedule) – Must have correctional experience

• At least one year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Must be able to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Carolina
• Valid and current BLS provider card (American Heart Association)
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology

• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
• Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
• Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
• Maintain accurate patient medical records
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients
• Administer prescribed medications to patients
