Job Summary:

We are searching for a part‑time weekend LPN to work in our residential program. The LPN works as part of the clinical team to implement evidence‑based treatment strategies that promote physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. The LPN also provides training to clients or family members regarding health, wellness, and medical stability.

Essential Duties & Functions:

• Utilize nursing knowledge in the safe implementation of basic preventive therapeutic and rehabilitative care of assigned client, as evidenced by documentation and positive outcomes.
• Identify individuals in need of medical nursing services or interventions and provide interventions as needed.
• Possess specialized knowledge and clinical skills necessary to provide care for clients; perform hands‑on nursing and facilitation care using the nursing process.
• Train and educate families, funders, employers, and other constituents; use appropriate resources to develop and implement individualized teaching and discharge plans.
• Support or provide direct care to clients at program locations or during medical appointments as needed.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• State licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (or equivalent) required.
• Experience in rehabilitation of chronically or catastrophically ill or injured clients recommended.
• Demonstrated accountability, analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, and time‑management skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with families, clients, staff, and physicians necessary.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record maintained at all times.
• Competence in writing, planning, organization, documentation, and time management required.
