Our Foundation is dedicated to fundraising and development efforts that support this mission and enhance educational opportunities for our students. We are currently preparing to launch a significant Capital Campaign to fund our upcoming campus consolidation project, which will further our ability to provide an innovative and impactful educational experience.
Position SummaryThe Exploris School seeks a detail-oriented and self-motivated Development Manager to join our Foundation team. In addition to providing critical support for our upcoming Capital Campaign, the successful candidate will help lead our Annual Fund campaign and contribute to the overall fundraising efforts of the school. Under the direction of the Director of Resources, the Manager will coordinate a wide range of activities and materials essential to the campaign's success.
This role is central to ensuring effective and efficient campaign planning, management, and implementation by serving as a key liaison and organizational hub for campaign leadership, volunteers, and staff.
- Under the direction of the Director of Resources, coordinate all activities of the board, volunteers, staff, and others as they relate to campaign implementation.
- Schedule and coordinate all campaign meetings, working committees, cultivation events, and any other meetings and events related to the campaign.
- Prepare all campaign materials and correspondence, including files, lists, meeting notifications, agendas, minutes, reports, and other follow-up materials.
- Coordinate the orientation of new campaign volunteers as needed to update them on campaign implementation.
- Maintain and update a campaign calendar of scheduled activities, and send weekly reports to key individuals and consultants.
- Coordinate and support efforts to seek and apply for various grants alongside other members of Exploris team.
- Record and transcribe notes of all significant campaign-related communications, especially those with volunteer leaders and board members, ensuring that senior staff and campaign counsel receive copies.
- Organize and maintain thorough and accurate computer and hard copy filing systems for all campaign activities.
- Develop and collect campaign-related materials, including online research, queries, and newspaper articles on potential donors.
- Serve as a liaison between campaign counsel, leadership, and staff.
- Perform the above and any other duties necessary for effective campaign planning and implementation.

- Self-motivated and self-directed with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and tasks.
- Proficient use of a personal computer and software; knowledge of word processing, database, and spreadsheet software programs is preferred.

- 1-3 years development/administrative experience (campaign support preferred)
- Grant coordination experience
- Prospect research experience
- Proven ability to plan successful events related to campaigns
- Position Type: To be determined (Part-Time or Full-Time). The position is hybrid, with specific in-person and remote details to be determined by the successful candidate and Exploris Leadership.
- Salary: A competitive salary range is being determined and will be commensurate with experience.
