Position: Heavy Equipment Operator

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $25 to $35/hour

Experience: At least 5 years of rough or fine grading experience with dozer, motor grader, excavator, etc.

Education: High School Diploma.

Type: Full-time;
Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Greene Resources is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join a growing and dynamic team!

• Operate multiple grading machines, including motor graders, dozers, excavators, and loaders.
• Perform rough and fine grading, sloping, and leveling to precise tolerances.
• Read and follow grade stakes, GPS guidance, and surveyor instructions.
• Conduct pre-shift inspections and perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Support site preparation tasks such as shoveling, traffic control, and debris removal.
• Maintain strict safety practices and report hazards promptly.
• Assist with road, utility, and site preparation to project specifications.

• Proven experience maintaining grade (for motor grader operators).
• Safety-focused work habits and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Reliability and strong work ethic.
• Sedimentation & Erosion Control certification (or ability to obtain).
• Traffic Control certification (or ability to obtain).
• Interest in leading small crews.
