Temp Process TechnicianThe TEMP Process Technician position is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic industry and participate with a team in the operation of lab and pilot nonwovens equipment, in development and manufacturing.
Prior experience in nonwovens production is NOT required. Candidates can learn this position with full support while on the job. A willingness to work and learn is important.
Responsibilities- Safely operate lab and pilot equipment & vehicles with training.
- Work as part of lab and production team (typically about 5 people).
- Maintain lab equipment, lab cleanliness, and organization.
- Participate in lab inventories, ordering supplies with training.
- Run development or production trials for clients.
- Move materials and supplies between labs and warehouse/storage.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
40 hours/week; standard shift 8:00 am-5:00 pm; occasional overtime or start/stop time variation may be needed.
Required Skills- Strong teamwork and initiative.
- Willingness to learn and use PPE.
- Basic mechanical aptitude; forklift experience or willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lb.
- Record keeping.
- Mechanical skills.
- Warehouse skills.
- Attendance at non‑revenue generating sporting events (free).
Salary $18‑$20 /hr, dependent on qualifications and experience.
