Director of Floorcare

The Director of Floorcare leads the strategy, operations, and growth of a multi-location floorcare business within a commercial services organization. This role is responsible for driving profitability, expanding market share, developing leaders, optimizing service offerings, and partnering with sales and marketing to grow recurring revenue. The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership, financial acumen, and a strategic mindset within the floorcare industry.

• Lead and develop regional floorcare leaders, ensuring consistent standards, performance, and succession planning
• Own financial performance, including P&L oversight, margin improvement, and budget planning
• Build and execute a multi-year strategic roadmap to grow revenue, profitability, and recurring contract work
• Optimize floorcare service and product offerings to increase market penetration
• Drive operational excellence through process improvement, resource optimization, and customer site evaluations
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to convert installation leads into long-term floorcare contracts
• Negotiate supplier programs, pricing, and terms
• Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to identify growth opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in floorcare or related commercial services
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage financial performance, and execute growth strategies
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Data-driven leader comfortable interpreting and communicating financial results
• High integrity, customer focus, and commitment to continuous improvement
