The Community Manager oversees the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include managing personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration, and risk management to ensure compliance with Asset’s policies, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.

• Personnel Management:
  Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on‑site staff; maintain compliance with training benchmarks.
• Schedule staff and address performance issues, documenting and communicating with HR as needed.
• Financial Management:
  Achieve net operating income goals, control costs, improve revenue, develop yearly budgets, and reconcile deposits and vendor invoices.
• Strategic Leasing Management:
  Develop marketing plans, ensure effective leasing techniques, handle resident complaints, and implement retention programs.
• Administrative & Maintenance Management:
  Maintain accurate reporting, lead emergency response, manage service requests, ensure property appearance, and oversee maintenance and construction activities.

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
  Bachelor’s degree or four years of housing industry experience preferred.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Proficient with on‑site software; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

• Perform repeated motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; work overtime, weekends, and nights.
• Stand or sit for prolonged periods, move between work sites, and access confined spaces.
• Handle items up to 25 lbs, operate machinery and equipment, and work in varied environmental conditions.

• Reliable transportation required for emergency on‑call duties.

Salary Range: $80,000 per year to $85,000 per year
