PositionWe are seeking a Business Operations Manager to support our USCIS contract. This role ensures continuity of leadership, manages day-to-day operations, and provides oversight when the Program Manager is engaged in executive-level responsibilities.
Responsibilities- Oversee daily operations for multiple task orders (OPI, VRI, ASL, translation).
- Serve as acting lead in the Program Manager’s absence.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Scheduling Coordinators, and CORs to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support risk management, compliance tracking, and performance reporting.
- Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues for resolution.
- Assist with financial oversight, including invoice reviews and cost tracking.
- Manage process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Mentor and support project staff to ensure consistent quality across the contract.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of operations or contract management experience, preferably in federal contracting or language services.
- Strong understanding of USCIS/DHS protocols, FAR regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multilingual teams or service delivery projects preferred.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.
