Summary: Responsible for planning, implementing and managing the financial activities of CASA and four related entities. Establishes policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial statements and financial reporting to all stakeholders. Provides financial forecasting and strategies to meet the goals of CASA’s strategic plan and growth.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises two finance staff who perform all the routine functions of capturing and reconciling financial activities of the Agency. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees;
addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
