UTS - Temporary Maintenance Technician at NC State
The employees will be assisting with using a tube punching tool to clean chiller tubes. There will be training on this. This requires repetitive motion with the upper body. The employees will be trained in sending a sensor down a tube for eddy current testing. Additionally, employees will be assisting with power washing cooling towers. Then the employees will be “cleaning” the inside of the boiler tubes until completed.

Work Schedule Monday-Friday/ 7:00am-3:30pm with 30 minute lunch
Other Work/Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Department Required Skills
- Mechanically inclined, will be taught to use the tube punching machine.
- Must be able to hold tool approximately 10 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation, repetitive motion with arms, hands, shoulders.

Valid NC Drivers license preferred, but not required
