Position Summary

Global Facility Cleaners is hiring 10 Janitorial Technicians to support cleaning operations for a 190,000 square foot federal facility in Raleigh, NC. These roles are contingent upon the successful award of a government contract. The janitorial team will be split evenly across two shifts to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Day Shift: 5 FTEs (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Evening Shift: 5 FTEs (3:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

Responsibilities

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning assignments

Service and sanitize restrooms, lobbies, clinical and office areas, stairwells, and elevators

Execute floor care procedures including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing

Carry out waste disposal and recycling duties, replacing liners and transporting bins

Follow detailed disinfection and infection control protocols

Respond to emergency cleaning requests with urgency and professionalism

Operate and maintain cleaning tools and equipment safely

Adhere to shift-specific schedules and document task completion digitally or on paper

Qualifications

Experience cleaning in medical, clinical, or federal facilities preferred

Willingness to complete training in OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Must be fluent in English and capable of reading safety instructions and procedures

Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks for extended periods
