Facilities Maintenance Technician

DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining the functionality and safety of our facilities. You will work alongside an experienced maintenance technician, with guidance from the facilities manager to ensure that our Align building, campus and equipment are in excellent condition.
Role expectations- Oversee and perform routine maintenance tasks such as event set up and take down, preventive maintenance inspections, grounds maintenance, and minor repairs.
- Conduct detailed inspections and basic maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, painting and electrical systems.
- Respond to and troubleshoot maintenance service requests promptly.
- Assist with employee workstation moves.
- Record and maintain maintenance work order activities and report any issues to the Sr. Facilities Manager.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Support the facilities team in various projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Oversee the coordination of external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address potential issues.
- Provide support during large events, inclement weather, emergency situations or equipment failures.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to facilities maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of related facilities maintenance experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and take on new challenges.
- Knowledge and the ability to use of basic hand tools.
- Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 75lbs. such as tables and chairs.
If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.
For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.
