Overview
We are seeking experienced Litigation Legal Assistants for multiple temp-to-hire opportunities in Raleigh, North Carolina. These roles support attorneys across a variety of litigation practice areas, offering an excellent path to a long-term position with a respected law firm.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys and legal teams
- Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas)
- Manage case files, calendars, deadlines, and court filings
- Coordinate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, and vendors
- Assist with trial preparation, hearings, and depositions
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
- Minimum of 3 years of litigation legal assistant experience (required)
- Experience supporting attorneys in one or more litigation practice areas (civil, commercial, insurance defense, personal injury, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
