Litigation Associate Attorney – McAngus Goudelock & Courie
Join MGC's Litigation Team in Raleigh, NC. McAngus Goudelock & Courie is an industry‑leading civil litigation firm celebrating 30 years of excellence in 2025, spanning 23 offices across 12 states. We are seeking attorneys to join our Litigation team in Raleigh. Remote/hybrid options will be considered after training and integration with the team. Ideal candidates will have 1‑5 years of practice experience.
Our associates receive hands‑on experience in all phases of civil litigation from case inception to trial, with direct client contact. We offer competitive compensation with monthly bonus opportunities. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or have pending North Carolina bar exam results.

- Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
- Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
- Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
- Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
- Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
- 1‑5 years of practice experience; prior insurance defense experience encouraged.
- Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
