Litigation Associate; PQE

The Opportunity

An opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a growing litigation team in Sydney, with a focus on commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and insolvency matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex disputes, delivering strategic legal advice, and representing clients across all court jurisdictions. This role suits a lawyer with strong technical capability, sound judgment, and the confidence to operate with autonomy while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Managing commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters from inception to resolution
• Advocacy in court appearances and mediations
• Running litigation and insolvency matters with autonomy, including matters progressing to trial
• Drafting high-quality correspondence, advice, and court documents (pleadings, applications, affidavits)
• Preparing briefs to Counsel, experts, and agents
• Applying a strong working knowledge of State and Federal Court rules
• Reviewing and settling court documents, advice, and correspondence
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals
• Managing and maintaining strong client relationships
