We are a well-established North Carolina family law firm seeking a Family Law Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of family law experience to join our team.
What You’ll Do- Manage a family law caseload from intake through resolution
- Advise and advocate for clients facing divorce, custody, support, and related matters
- Draft pleadings, handle discovery, and appear in court
- Work closely with a supportive team that values open communication and professional excellence
- Help clients navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives with clarity and compassion
- A minimum of 3 years of family law experience in North Carolina
- Strong litigation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities- Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
- Represent clients in court proceedings as needed
- Manage the division of marital assets, including real estate, during divorce proceedings when needed
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Keep client files properly organized and up to date
- Create legal documents such as pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
- Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred
- Member in good standing and actively involved with the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required
- Ability to successfully represent both plaintiff and defendant sides of a case
$120,000+ depending on experience & performance
