Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher – Kane Realty Corporation in Raleigh, NC (North Hills) is looking to hire a part-time weekends only (Saturday and Sunday), 3rd shift (11pm-7am) Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher. A Day in the Life of a Dispatch Officer / DispatcherAs a Dispatch Officer / Dispatcher, you are an ambassador for our real estate and property management company. You serve as the first line of communication for our community. You coordinate and process resources pertaining to property services, update the database to ensure information is correct, collect pertinent demographic data, determine which responding unit youll contact, and provide the responding officers with all necessary information via phone, email, or two-way radio.
You ensure that the technician has detailed and accurate information about each job and that everyone is kept updated along the way. In case of accidents and as requested by the property management team, you occasionally initiate emergency action plans. You are able to stay calm in stressful situations.
With attention to detail, you keep accurate records of all calls. You maintain the lost and found logs as well as roof access logs. Leveraging your data entry skills, you accurately type up detailed reports. You enjoy interacting with others and feel good about ensuring the safety and satisfaction of everyone involved.
Qualifications- 2+ years of experience in telecommunications, computer data entry, and dispatch
- 2+ years of experience working with the general public, security, or law enforcement is preferred but not required
- Excellent listening and communication skills; ability to work confidently in a fast-paced setting; professional presentation
