Vendor Onboarding Coordinator

Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services company, is looking for a Commercial Lines Insurance-Vendor Onboarding Coordinator to join their team onsite in Raleigh, NC. We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Certificate of Insurance Subject Matter Expert to assist our team in onboarding service providers. The ideal candidate will have a background in the commercial property and casualty insurance industry, with a focus on Certificate of Insurance coverage requirements per statute and description of services for each type of service provider congruent to their required coverage to perform work within our buildings.

This role will also involve reviewing compliance documents, translating complex insurance concepts into actionable documentation, and refining standards to align with industry benchmarks.

• CMMS Experience (Preferably Service Channel/Fixxbook): 1 year

• Provide expert knowledge of property and casualty insurance processes related to coverage requirements
• Act as a liaison for reviewing and approving Certificates of Insurance submitted by insurance agents
• Translate complex insurance concepts into clear, actionable documentation such as sample COIs
• Assist in the development and refinement of Certificate of Insurance standards to match industry benchmarks
• Utilize CMMS programs such as Service Channel to review compliance-related documents for onboarding approvals or rejections
• Support operational tasks related to onboarding service providers and ensuring compliance
