- The Senior Project Manager will lead complex technology initiatives supporting child support systems and related programs.
- The role involves full lifecycle project management, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions that meet business, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead full lifecycle project planning by defining scope, developing work plans, creating integrated schedules, and mapping dependencies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive project execution and ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, resolve obstacles, and ensure work is delivered on time and within scope.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders including technical teams, business partners, and vendors.
- Document decisions, track action items, and maintain communication across project teams.
- Identify risks, issues, and system dependencies and communicate potential impacts to schedule and scope.
- Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure project stability.
- Track budgets, analyze variances, and forecast resource and funding needs.
- Adjust project plans and priorities to maintain performance and compliance with requirements.
- Lead quality assurance activities including requirement reviews, test planning, system validation, and defect resolution.
- Deliver project status updates to leadership including progress, risks, issues, and key milestones.
- Experience leading complex multi-phase IT projects from planning through execution and closure.
- Experience managing project governance, documentation, and reporting processes.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including developers, architects, stakeholders, vendors, and QA teams.
- Experience managing technology modernization, legacy system migration, and system integration initiatives.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Project planning, scheduling, and roadmap development.
- Budget management and resource forecasting.
- Risk, issue, and change management.
- Agile project delivery and sprint coordination.
- Project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Stakeholder communication and executive reporting.
- Experience working with child support programs or government systems.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, Agile, or Scrum Master.
